Leaders Are Not Modeling Disciple Making Believers reproduce what they SEE , not what they HEAR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Believers imitate Disciple makers not leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 1 Corinthians 11:1 \u2014 \u201cFollow me as I follow Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Philippians 4:9 \u2014 \u201cWhat you have seen in me\u2014practice these things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Church leaders don\u2019t disciple, the church won\u2019t disciple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Fear of Commitment and Accountability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Real discipleship requires:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Time ,Transparency, Correction and Obedience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Many believers prefer comfort over transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Real discipleship requires obedience and commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Luke 9:23 \u2014 \u201cTake up your cross daily and follow Me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Hebrews 3:13 \u2014 \u201cEncourage one another daily\u2026 so none may be hardened.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comfort destroys discipleship<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. The Church Shifted From Mission to Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most churches spend their energy <strong>running programs<\/strong>, <strong>managing services<\/strong>, and <strong>keeping people comfortable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus never told the church to maintain; He commanded movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Matthew 28:19\u201320<\/strong> \u2014 \u201c<strong>Go<\/strong> and make disciples\u2026 teaching them to obey.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luke 19:10<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cThe Son of Man came to <strong>seek and save<\/strong> the lost.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the church stops going or winning the Lost , it stops discipling believers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mission requires movement. Maintenance requires meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Discipleship Was Replaced by Teaching Alone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teaching is <strong>information<\/strong>. Discipleship is <strong>imitation + obedience<\/strong>. Many churches preach well but <strong>train poorly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teaching gives <strong>information<\/strong>. Discipleship forms <strong>obedience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>James 1:22<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cBe <strong>doers<\/strong> of the word, not hearers only.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>John 13:15<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cI have <strong>set you an example<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Churches that only teach create listeners, not disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. Lack of Vision for Multiplication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most churches aim to <strong>gather crowds<\/strong>, not <strong>grow disciple-makers<\/strong>. Crowds impress. Disciples multiply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Matthew 4:19<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cI will make you <strong>fishers of men<\/strong>.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acts 6:7<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cThe number of disciples <strong>multiplied<\/strong> greatly.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many churches aim to gather, not multiply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. No Burden for the Lost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When evangelism dies, discipleship dies. You cannot disciple people you never reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Romans 10:14<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cHow will they believe unless someone <strong>preaches<\/strong>?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luke 15:4<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cLeave the ninety\u2011nine and <strong>go after<\/strong> the one.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evangelism is the cutting edge of a movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7. Church Became Event\u2011Driven, Not Life\u2011Driven<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday services became the center. But disciples are made <strong>in relationships<\/strong>, not in rows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Acts 2:46<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cThey met <strong>daily<\/strong>\u2026 from house to house.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 Thessalonians 2:8<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cWe shared our <strong>lives<\/strong> with you.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday services alone cannot produce disciples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One to one or Small groups are the best way to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
